  interRAI CHA Coding Refresher Workshop

This one-day workshop will support assessors in improving their coding skills. Particular attention will be paid to those questions in the interRAI CHA which assessors commonly find a challenge, and emphasizes the IADL and ADL assessment sections. During this interactive session, assessors will participate in small group exercises using a case study, with ample opportunity for discussion, reflection and questions. During this session, assessors will:

  • improve their ability to accurately complete the interRAI CHA Core and Functional
  • participate in active learning exercises
  • identify and work through gaps from reflective analysis
Who Should Attend:

This workshop will be of interest to experienced interRAI CHA assesors who are interested in improving their assessment skills with emphasis on those areas in the CHA that are most challenging (e.g ADLs and IADLS). Previous training and experience in completing an assessment using interRAI CHA is required.

Note About Materials: The interRAI CHA coding manual is not included in the registration fee. We have manuals that participants may borrow during the workshop, or participants may bring their organization’s manual.
